2016 Autograph Books

If you have a blog and it is a crafty one that means you make and share some great projects with others often.  I bet you also make some projects you do not share or you forget to share with others.  That is so me when I make gifts for others.  I do not want to risk anyone seeing things too early so I often forget to post the project at all. That is the case with these autograph books I made...in 2016!!
Only a little late sharing these. I made them for a coworker's niece and nephew and just never got around to sharing them with you. I found the photos I had taken while cleaning up my files and figured it is never to late.
I used 2 print and cut images I found online and added them on top of my favorite basic albums for autograph books.  A little embossing to the back and of course Mickey Font letters and they were all set. They had a great trip and I even got to see inside these books after the trip- when I visited with my coworker's nephew!!
Always fun to share a love of Disney. My husband has been a Disney Vacation Planner for several years now and it only has made us love all things Disney even more. If you are thinking of planning a trip (Disney World, Disneyland, Disney Cruises, and more)!  You can find him HERE!!!

Supplies:
- Mickey Font Cricut - lettering and Mickey heads
- Star embossing folder from The Paper Studio
- Cuttlebug 5x7 polka dot embossing folder.

Cats, the Musical

Sharing my love of theater with my daughter is one of my favorite things and the fact that she also has grown to love it brings me more joy than I can say.

Taking her to see Cats, back in 2014, was extra special as it was one of my earliest theater memories. She loved it and the music still brings her joy as she often is listening to it with her headphones.

I found a great file of the show logo and used it to create the top card for this filler page in our 2014 album. I even tried to keep the measurements correct when placing the pieces so that it would be the right distance apart like on the posters.

I have really grown to love the idea of cutting photos to fit into my pocket pages and it gives sort of a cool effect when looking at the pages.

Thanks for stopping by.  I love hearing your thoughts as I get back into sharing my projects here on my blog again.

Supplies:
- Project Life - Sunshine Edition black & white card
- Heidi Swapp - date stamper
- png file for Cats logo

Science Adventure Sketch

2018 is here and I have spent way too much time away form my crafting space. I was super happy to get back into it this afternoon and went right for one of my favorite challenges, Die Cuttin' Divas, to get the juices flowing.  They always start the month with a sketch challenge so I went looking for a space in my albums that could use a great title card.
I made this fun title card for a trip we took to Nashville back in 2013.  The sketch was perfect and ready to be flipped for the final spread.
I had already placed all my photos and cards (I'll admit I did that a long while ago) so adding the touches of journaling and the title card were simple steps to finish the spread and jump back into craft time.
I hope to spend much more time playing and capturing my memories like this during 2018. It felt good to jump in with such a fun challenge. (Love those Die Cuttin' Divas)

Supplies:
Project Life - Kiwi Edition
