Sing Along Down Main Street

A drive down Main Street at Walt Disney world is always a wonderful thing to experience. A drive down Main Street with a Legacy cast member super special.
We were lucky enough to get a ride from the castle to the train station with Barbara. She sang holiday tunes the whole way and had everyone in our path singing along with her. What a fun touch to this holiday memory.
I used cuts from 2 Cricut Cartridge collections and some Project Life cards to create this fun scrapbook page to add to my Holiday album.

Supplies:
- Hannah Montana Cricut cartridge- music notes
- My World Cricut Cartridge - car cuts
- Project Life

Give Thanks: Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving!
Thanksgiving is one of my favorite days of the year. This year I am giving thanks for so many things: my new job, new friends and right now getting my crafting mojo back. I have been back in the craft room creating fun projects to share for the last 2 days (love having time off). I love this cute turkey cut so I had to play with him.
I used nothing but scraps and twine I never remember to use to make this card (the first I have made since July) and had fun playing with patterned paper I had in my scraps bin.

Have a wonderful day all.

I am adding this to a few challenges going on right now:
Always Fun Challenges #33 - Thanksgiving
Dare 2B ArtZy November Challenge - Gratitude.
Use Your Stuff #289 - Thankful

Supplies:
- Simply Charmed Cricut Cartridge - Turkey
- Designer's Calendar Cricut Cartridge - Give Thanks
- 5x7 dots embossing

Been Awhile...Now What?

It has been a while since I last posted on my blog and seeing as this is a place I get to express myself...

I know some of it has been a shift in jobs.  I recently got my dream job and spent the summer preparing for the new school year as a full time Drama teacher.  I get to teach drama to all 6th, 7th & 8th graders in my building and I love it everyday. The time to plan over the summer was very needed and enjoyed as I got to take some fun summer classes.  The work I put in took me away from my memory making & crafting time.
My daughter has started middle school and has had some struggles adjusting and getting settled in. Any parent with a child who has an IEP (Individualized Education Plan for those who might not know) knows this can be a concern at times.  It also has taken away some time.
The last thing was a lack of inspiration and desire tobe in my crafting space. I finished up working with Design Cuttin' Divas (who I love and say go see their weekly challenge it is a blast) and did not seem inspired to create things. I would sit at my desk and not know what to make - even with stacks and stacks of photos to work with.
I had the crafting blahs...BUT...
I am starting to make my way back into my crafting space and eager to work with the memories I have captured on film. I know many of my followers may not stop by for awhile, but I want to say thanks to anyone who does and let you know I so enjoy visiting different blogs and seeing all the wonderful love put into creating projects

As I know in the end that is the main reason most of us choose to create and share.
