When I first joined the Cricut Circle it was right before the CHA in Chicago last July and they told us to make calling cards. The cards are supposed to be 3 x 3 inches and include your basic contact information. At the meet-up in July they had us submit a card and they did a large drawing for prizes. You also are encouraged to trade your cards with others as a way to get to know each other.
My first calling cards were all over the place. I just went into my scrap bin and created a bunch of different looking cards with no common theme or plan.I just wanted to have a set to share. I really only shared a few with others, mostly because I was so overwhelmed with the booths and excitement at CHA.
Now I am making my second set of calling cards for a swap that was on the message board. I wanted to have a common theme for these cards, but knew that I need a little variety. I decided all my cards would have the same basic layout: My initials and a ticket with drama masks below that. than I decided that they had to have polka dots. After than I picked out my colors and instead of going and buying more paper (I have way to much as is) I picked several different colors to make the cards out of. I am super pleased with how they turned out and I look forward to sending them off for the swap. I am really looking forward to getting my stack in the mail this morning.
Font is Billionaire, Ticket is from Summer Vacation and the Drama masks are from Locker Talk. |
Now lets talk Giveaways! I waited a long long time to get to 75 followers and last week I got there. To celebrate I am giving away a set of Cricut Markers. You do not have to be a follower to win (bit it would be nice.) Just leave a comment on the post that discusses the giveaway: HERE.
Now as chance would happen I am actually getting very close to 100 followers and as you may be able to imagine I am very excited about that as well. I am thinking another giveaway for my 100th follower will have to come soon. Does anyone out there like Kaiser Craft?? More soon. Thanks for being a follower and as always I love reading all my comments.
